place of light and peace.
We celebrate Shabbat through song, prayer, Torah study, chanting and meditation. Rabbi JudiAhavah DelBourgo leads services that are healing,
soulful, uplifting and connecting. We sing prayers through traditional melodies and contemporary songs. Makom’s prayer book includes English,
Hebrew and transliterations for all prayers, so beginners and experienced alike will find our services both moving and accessible. In our Torah
discussions, we seek to bridge the wisdom of our ancient text with our contemporary lives.
We are socially progressive and egalitarian. We welcome interfaith couples, LGBTQ+, BIPOC and all branches of Judaism. We are a warm and
supportive community that values inner growth and healing. Members are invited to share their talents and contribute to our communal learning. We
