The Israel Tour Guides Association is a non-profit making organization, founded more than Thirty Years ago with the objective of promoting Incoming Tourism to Israel, the Holy Land and to market the services of the many hundreds of Licensed Tour Guides operating in Israel. All members of the Association have to have a License from the Ministry of Tourism. This requires attending a course lasting almost Two Year and passing stringent examinations on a variety of relevant subjects. Most Tour Guides have been active in their profession for many years and enjoy a wealth of experience The Association's Membership includes guides who speak a variety of languages.
